51st Induction Ceremony for Public Servants of the Lagos State Government facilitated by Alausa Chapter

Under the auspices of the Alausa Chapter of the Lagos branch, the Institute held a special induction programme for 143 Public Servants who were successful in the screening exercise conducted by the Institute for this purpose. Out of this number, 38 were admitted as members into the FULL MEMBER cadre while the remaining 105 were admitted into the ASSOCIATE cadre by the President and Chairman of our Governing Council, Mr. Olusegun Mojeed, FCIPM with the Assistance of our Registrar/CE, Ms. Oluwatoyin Naiwo, FCIPM and Chairman of our Institute’s Membership Committee, Mr. Adedeji Omotayo, FCIPM who was represented by his Vice Chairman.

This event was held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium of the Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa, Lagos.

The Lagos State Government Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, MCIPM was ably represented by Mr. Shuaheeb Olabode Agoro who has since then been appointed the new Head of Service of the State. Several Permanent Secretaries and Directors were also in attendance.

Mr. Ahmed Ladan Gobir, FCIPM who was the Guest Speaker for the day, spoke on the topic ‘Now that you are Chatered: Building Professional Competencies for Excellence and Impact’. His delivery was very insightful.

The Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Emmauel Anigbata, MCIPM thereafter welcomed and received them as members of the Lagos State Branch while the Alausa Chapter Chairman, Mr. Jamiu Awe, MCIPM thanked all concerned for being part of the success of the occasion.
