The CIPM Lagos State Branch, led by the Branch Chairman, Mrs. Adenike Adeyelu, FCIPM, paid a courtesy visit to the Rector of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) today, Wednesday 12th August 2026.
On behalf of the Rector, the delegation was warmly received by the Deputy Rector (Academics), Dr. Engr. Ismaila Badmus, the Deputy Rector(Administration), Dr Femi Lawal, the Registrar, Mrs. Henrietta Adebola Badejo, and other members of the College’s management team.
During the visit, the Branch Chairman highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between CIPM and YABATECH in advancing human capital development and promoting professional excellence. She also expressed the Branch’s interest in facilitating the establishment of a CIPM Chapter within YABATECH, creating greater opportunities for staff to connect, learn, grow, and contribute to the HR profession.
The Branch Chairman further encouraged members of the management team to embrace professional membership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and assured the College of the support of both the Lagos State Branch and the CIPM HQ in facilitating their membership enrollment.
Responding on behalf of the Rector, the Deputy Rector (Academic) appreciated the CIPM Lagos State Branch Team for the visit and expressed the College’s enthusiasm about deepening its relationship with the Institute. He also welcomed the prospect of establishing a CIPM Chapter within YABATECH and collaborating towards advancing human capital development.
The visit concluded on a warm and memorable note, with the Branch Chairman presenting CIPM souvenirs to the College’s representatives.
