Members of the Ibeju-Lekki Epe (ILE) Chapter of the Lagos State Branch paid an institutional visit to Lagos Business School (LBS) on Wednesday, September 9, 2023, for the purpose of observing how the HR value chain is being operated in the organization.
The Chapter sought strategic partnerships and requested that some of the Chapter meetings be held at the organization (LBS) at least on a quarterly basis.
The attendees from the branch were led by the Branch Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Anigbata, MCIPM, and the Ibeju-Lekki Epe Chapter Chairman, Chris Onakpo, ACIPM.
The Chapter was welcomed by Professor Chris Ogbechie with a video of the vision, mission, and services offered by the Lagos Business School. The staff of the HR department gave presentations on the history and values of Lagos Business School, HR courses, and other programmes offered by the organization, and sought affiliation and partnership with the Institute. Aside from this, the Chapter got commitments from some members of their HR team to actively participate in the activities of the Chapter.
The Lagos Branch Chairman promised to discuss the proposed affiliation partnership with the Institute President and Chairman of the Governing Council. The attendees were led on a tour of the organization’s facilities and a photo session with a strong commitment on both sides to build on the relationship.
