Lagos State Branch Workshop Held on 26th of August 2023 at CIPM House, Alausa, Ikeja
The workshop organized by the Lagos State branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) on Competency-Based Talent Acquisition and Retention held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, was indeed a resounding success. The event garnered significant attention and saw the participation of professionals hailing from diverse backgrounds.
The workshop, Facilitated by Tinuke Bosun-Okusaga, MCIPM, was centered around a pragmatic approach to several critical aspects of talent management. These included the development of competency-based job profiles, the creation of competency-based interview or selection guides, and the formulation of strategies for talent retention, among other pertinent topics.
It is worth highlighting that this workshop not only served as a valuable platform for knowledge acquisition but also offered attendees the opportunity to earn points toward their CIPM membership upgrade. This dual benefit made it a truly enriching and rewarding learning experience.
